Trimbakeshwar is 28 km from Nashik in Maharashtra and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas as well as the source of the Godavari.
By train
Nashik Road is the nearest railway station, well connected to Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Surat. From the station, a taxi to Trimbakeshwar takes about ninety minutes.
By air
Nashik (Ozar) airport is 50 km away with limited flights. Most devotees fly into Mumbai and drive four to five hours, or into Pune and drive five hours.
By road
The Mumbai–Nashik expressway is comfortable in all seasons. Buses run frequently from Nashik CBS to Trimbakeshwar throughout the day.
