What is Kaal Sarp Dosh and how do I know I have it?

Kaal Sarp Dosh is formed in a birth chart when all seven planets are placed between Rahu and Ketu. Common signs include repeated setbacks in career or marriage, disturbing dreams, fear of snakes, sudden financial losses, and a feeling that efforts do not bring results. Send your date, time and place of birth to Guru Ji — he will read your kundali personally and confirm whether Kaal Sarp Dosh is present, and if so, which of the 12 types it is.

Can the puja be done without physically visiting Trimbakeshwar (online/proxy option)?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you cannot travel to Trimbakeshwar, Guru Ji performs the puja by sankalp in your name on the banks of the Godavari. You can join the key moments over a WhatsApp video call, and we share photos and a complete video recording of the ritual, prasad and mantra chanting afterwards. This option is used regularly by NRIs and devotees from outside Maharashtra.

What is the cost of Kaal Sarp Dosh Puja / Narayan Nagbali / other pujas?

Dakshina depends on the specific ritual, the number of participants, and whether samagri and prasad are included. For example, Kaal Sarp Dosh Nivaran Puja, Narayan Nagbali and Tripindi Shradh each have different vidhi lengths and requirements. Guru Ji will explain the exact cost clearly on the call before you confirm, with no hidden charges at the temple.

How long does each puja take?

Kaal Sarp Dosh Nivaran Puja takes about 3 to 4 hours; Narayan Nagbali is a three-day ritual; Tripindi Shradh takes 4 to 5 hours; Pitra Dosh Nivaran around 3 hours; Rudrabhishek 1 to 2 hours; and shorter shanti pujas such as Vastu, Nakshatra or Grah Shanti usually take 2 to 3 hours. The exact timing is confirmed when you book, since some vidhis must begin at a specific muhurat.

What documents or items should I bring (e.g., kundali/birth chart)?

Please bring a printed or digital copy of your kundali if you have one, and a government-issued photo ID. If you do not have a birth chart, send your date, time and place of birth in advance and Guru Ji will prepare it. For dress, men should wear a dhoti/kurta and women a saree or salwar-kameez. All puja samagri is arranged by our office.

Is a specific date required, or can any day work?

Most dosha-nivaran and ancestral pujas give the best result when performed on an auspicious muhurat — such as Amavasya, Pitru Paksha, Nag Panchami, Shravan Somvar or Mahashivratri. Some rituals can be done on other days if your schedule requires it, but Guru Ji will advise the most suitable date after reading your chart.

What is the difference between Kaal Sarp Dosh and Pitra Dosh?

Kaal Sarp Dosh is caused by the placement of Rahu and Ketu around all other planets in your own birth chart, creating obstacles in this life. Pitra Dosh is related to unfulfilled ancestral debts or shraddha gaps in the family line, often showing as problems with children, property, repeated misfortune or mental unrest. The remedies are different: Kaal Sarp Dosh Nivaran Puja for the former, and Pitra Dosh Nivaran or Tripindi Shradh for the latter. Many devotees have both, and Guru Ji will tell you exactly which one applies to you.

Is advance payment required to book, and is it safe?

Accepted Answer

A small token advance is requested only to reserve the muhurat date and begin sankalp preparations, especially during busy periods such as Pitru Paksha and Shravan. The remaining dakshina is paid in person or online after the puja. Payment is accepted by bank transfer or UPI, and a written receipt is provided for every transaction. Nothing is charged without your clear confirmation.

Do you provide accommodation/travel guidance near Trimbakeshwar?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our office helps devotees choose clean, temple-side lodging according to their budget, whether travelling alone, with family or in a group. We also guide you on how to reach Trimbakeshwar from Nashik Road railway station, Ozar airport or by road, and what to expect on the day of the puja.

Is a Sankalp (prior declaration) required, and how does it work for devotees who can't travel (e.g., NRIs)?

Accepted Answer

Sankalp is the solemn declaration of your name, gotra and intention, and it is an essential start to every ritual. If you are present, you take the sankalp yourself with Guru Ji. If you cannot travel, we perform sankalp on your behalf using your full name, gotra, place and purpose. NRIs can share these details by WhatsApp or email, join the start of the puja by video call, and receive the sankalp recording and prasad afterwards.
