मंगल दोष निवारण पूजा

Mangal Dosh, also called Manglik dosh, is read when Mars occupies the first, fourth, seventh, eighth or twelfth house of the birth chart. Mars is the karaka of energy and conflict, and in these houses it presses directly on marriage and married life.

The puja pacifies Mars through its own mantra, red samidha, coral and the daan prescribed for the planet. Where the dosh is severe the shastras also allow Kumbh Vivah as a remedial marriage before the actual one.

It matters most at the time of horoscope matching. Guru Ji will also tell you plainly when the dosh is cancelled — by age, by a matching dosh in the partner's chart, or by placement — rather than prescribing a ritual that is not needed.
