Understanding the ritual
What is Grah Shanti Puja?
Grah Shanti pacifies the planets that sit weak, debilitated or afflicted in your horoscope. Each of the nine grahas has its own mantra count, samidha, grain and daan, and the puja addresses only those that need it — identified from your chart rather than performed blindly for all nine.
The ritual is most often advised when a difficult Mahadasha or Antardasha begins, during Sade Sati, or when transits repeatedly disturb one area of life such as work, health or relationships.
Grah Shanti does not change a horoscope. It softens the edge of a planetary period so that the same years pass with less friction, and it is usually paired with the simple daily remedies Guru Ji prescribes at the end of the puja.
